TULSA, Okla. (Sept. 28, 2026) — Known for their distinctive sound and creative songwriting, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will welcome acclaimed Latino group Los Tucanes de Tijuana inside Hard Rock Live on on Dec. 5 at 9 p.m.
Los Tucanes de Tijuana have become one of the most influential and internationally recognized Latino music groups. The group’s story began with a shared dream and a deep musical heritage passed down through their grandparents, parents and uncles.
The members of the group were originally from Sinaloa and eventually reunited in Tijuana, Mexico, where they began learning to play music. Their uncles, Los Incomparables de Tijuana, provided their first instruments, and the group gradually acquired the equipment needed to begin performing. Los Tucanes de Tijuana officially began their musical journey on April 13, 1987, at Bar Razza’s Club in Tijuana.
The group was named Los Tucanes de Tijuana by their cousin, Rosario Quintero Galvez. Through their creativity and songwriting, the band developed a distinctive identity and following. Since 1995, Los Tucanes de Tijuana have established themselves as influential Latino artists with an international audience.
