GARY ALLAN

Gary Allan saddles up to the Hard Rock Live stage Aug. 23
TULSA, Okla. (April 29, 2025) — Blending traditional country roots with modern storytelling and pop- and rock-infused energy, local fan favorite Gary Allan is making his return to Hard Rock Live inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 8 p.m.
With a reputation as a modern outlaw in country music, Allan has captivated audiences for nearly three decades with his raw vocals, rebellious lyrics and electrifying live performances. He’s released more than 10 studio albums, two greatest hits albums and 32 singles, forging a path that has earned him more than 8 million albums sold. His discography includes three platinum-certified albums and five gold-certified albums. He also boasts five No. 1 singles on country radio and four No. 1 debuts on the Billboard Country Album chart, including the chart-topping success of “Set You Free” on the Billboard 200.
His No. 1 hits include “Man to Man,” “Tough Little Boys,” “Nothing On but the Radio” and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).” Other fan favorites and instant classics include “Smoke Rings in the Dark,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Watching Airplanes” and “Songs About Rain.” Rolling Stone named his latest album, “Ruthless,” one of the best country albums of 2021.
Born in California, Allan grew up playing honky tonks with his father as early as age 13. After recording a demo, a couple discovered a tape of Allan in the glove box of a car they purchased from him and offered to fund more of his recordings. He signed with Decca Records in 1995, recording the standout debut album “Used Heart for Sale.”
Recognized by Entertainment Weekly as “dark and dreamy” and praised by Rolling Stone as a “maverick,” Allan has carved out a unique space in country music with his soulful, edgy sound. His influence extends beyond the charts as he headlines sold-out shows nationwide, from New York to Los Angeles.
Tickets start at $89.50 and go on sale May 2.
