Scotty McCreery heads to Tulsa for Hard Rock return July 18
McCreery has been in the public spotlight for nearly half his life. He first rose to fame after winning the tenth season of “American Idol” in 2011 and then making history as both the first country artist and the youngest male artist of any genre to debut his first studio album, the Platinum-certified Clear as Day, at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.
In 2017, McCreery made history again when his single "Five More Minutes" became the first country song to chart in the Top 50 without the backing of a record label, ultimately topping the Billboard Country charts as his first (of six, thus far) No.1 hits. His most recent album, Rise & Fall, released in 2024, was widely praised for its classic '90s country sound, and its lead single, "Cab in a Solo," reached number one on the charts. The album also contains his current single “Fall of Summer.”
Throughout his career, McCreery has consistently delivered heartfelt lyrics and powerful performances, solidifying his place as one of country music’s most compelling voices. His hits include “This is It,” “In Between,” “You Time,” “Damn Strait,” and “It Matters to Her”
McCreery’s contributions to country music were recognized in 2024 when he was inducted by Josh Turner and Randy Travis into the Grand Ole Opry after being invited by Garth Brooks, an honor reserved for country music’s most esteemed artists. He was also inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2023.
With a devoted fan base and a reputation for energetic live shows, his performance at Hard Rock Live promises to be an unforgettable night filled with hits both old and new.
