Soft rock sets sail into Hard Rock with “Yacht Rock the Dock” Aug. 22

TULSA, Okla. (May 12, 2026) — Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will welcome “Yacht Rock the Dock” to the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Hard Rock Live inside the casino.

This unforgettable concert will feature an all-star lineup of original artists performing their iconic hits from the 1970s and 1980s. Anchored by Ambrosia, John Ford Coley, Peter Beckett (The Voice of Player), Walter Egan and Elliot Lurie, “Yacht Rock the Dock” is a celebration of the smooth rock era that defined a generation and continues to captivate audiences today.

The show will include performances by Ambrosia, known for their Grammy-nominated hits like “How Much I Feel” and “Biggest Part of Me.” The band, formed in the South Bay of Los Angeles in 1970, is beloved by fans for its unique blend of progressive, classical and soulful influences and maintains its historical influence on soft rock with collaborations with artists such as Leonard Bernstein and Fleetwood Mac.

John Ford Coley, half of the Grammy-nominated duo England Dan and John Ford Coley, will also perform. Coley created timeless hits such as “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight,” “Love Is the Answer” and “We’ll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again.”

Peter Beckett, best known as “The Voice of Player,” was the lead singer and songwriter behind the 1978 international No. 1 hit “Baby Come Back.” Player continued its success with hits like “This Time I’m in It for Love,” solidifying its place in rock history. Beckett’s captivating voice and memorable songs continue to resonate with fans worldwide.

Walter Egan rose to fame with his 1978 gold-certified hit “Magnet and Steel,” which reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Co-produced with Lindsey Buckingham, the song has become an enduring classic, showcasing Egan’s talent as both a songwriter and performer.

Elliot Lurie, the voice and guitarist behind Looking Glass, achieved fame with the 1972 No. 1 hit “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl).” The song remains a beloved classic, featured in films like “Guardians of the Galaxy” and covered by artists such as Kenny Chesney.

“Yacht Rock the Dock” will transport audiences back to the golden age of smooth rock, celebrating the music that remains a staple of classic rock radio and a growing favorite among new generations.

Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale May 15.
